Quimera Estúdio intents to unite talents to help creating a comic book identity in Brazil. The idea is not just to create characters that have some relation with our culture, but also create stories that, even with an universal theme, will build up a record of this kind of art. We want to create and produce brazilian comic books, improve the development of this market here in Brazil so our works may be well known not only here but worldwide.

At first we came up with a couple of ideas for some stories but they only toke shape when we were invited to colaborate with a story for the HQnado website. Light & Darkness - Prelude was born and this first comic motivated us to better shape our other ideas making Quimera Estúdio real.

We named the studio Quimera (Chimera in English) because it is a mithological creature that lives in the dream world. This idea represents our imagination and creativity taking shape and changing into the final product: our Comic Books.
